The chair is currently funding three projects: ICEbreaker, RESIST and TRANSITION.

Information, communication, and emotional regulation in coping with cancer

RESIST

Announcing the progression of a disease in oncology: Challenges with communication between healthcare professionals and the patient–family dyad

TRANSITION

Improving support for adolescents and young adults with pediatric cancer and their parents in the transition to adult care

Complementary projects.

The opsyrii research team is involved in several research projects aimed at improving support for patients with cancer and their families. These projects are supported by external funding sources or are being conducted without funding.

PEDIACRIEX EN-HOPE SMART4CBT – The East North Hematology Oncology Pediatric Consortium offers a research program for social sciences, the microenvironment, and multiomics analyses in radio therapy resistance for children with brain tumors

REHAB – This study is on the rehabilitation of patients with head and neck cancer in terms of the efficiency of radiotherapy management

Principal investigator: Dr Xavier Liem (Oscar Lambret Center)
Funding: AAP In’Care – AstraZeneca.

CandyStress – This project is aimed at creating personalized support for patient–informal caregiver dyads at risk of developing cancer-related post-traumatic distress in the year following diagnosis

Principal investigator: Dr Christelle Duprez (SCALab – UMR CNRS 9193, University of Lille).
Funding: French National Cancer Institute.

ANCAPRO – This is a quantitative and qualitative study on anxiety in patients undergoing active surveillance for localized prostate cancer and their partners

Principal investigator: Dr Jonathan Olivier (CHU de Lille).
Funding: Ligue nationale contre le cancer.

Qualiturquoise – This project is aimed at identifying the support care needs of women with ovarian cancer
